Being built in 2012 and known as the local "Golden Gate", it has made Puerto Maldonado a part of the Interoceanic Highway.

How to get there:
The flight from the international airport in Lima is carried out by two airlines: Avianca and Star Peru. The taxi from the airport to the center of town costs about ten soles (2.5 EUR) and takes about 15 minutes.
